Panorama Drama beleives that children can be educated and entertained at the same time and we hope to create work with young children that makes them develop countless skills whilst enhancing their creativity.

PANORAMA DRAMA THEATRE EDUCATION PRESENT
My Marvellous Medicine
(VARIOUS AVAILABLE DATES IN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 2014)

Our workshops are Based on Roald Dahl’s award winning ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’
-
Using storytelling, puppetry, arts and crafts and shadow performing we explore the story of George’s Marvellous Medicine
-
Applicable for years 3, 4, 5 and Lower Key Stage 2
-
The workshop covers parts of the English curriculum: enhancing a child’s speaking and listening skills, storytelling skills, confidence and team building skills, use of phonic language, reading and their knowledge of common exception words.

At the same time this scheme enhances a child’s creativity and ability to share, express and voice their own stories, developing their use of language

Also applicable to the curriculum by giving children an opportunity to predict what might happen on the basis of what has been read so far, allowing them to eventually create their own ‘Marvellous Medicine’ in the world ‘George’

A perfect educational treat for the students, giving them an opportunity to tell stories in a practical, devised fashion
